Writer 2.0 Interview with AC Fuller
I recently got to sit down with a friend of mine, AC Fuller, so we could talk about Vanishing Games. In a special, double-length episode of the WRITER 2.0 Podcast, we talked about my new novel, and also touched on: my earliest writing memory; how my agent found me; whose couch I was sleeping on when I found out my debut novel had sold all over the world; the rabbit hole of Amazon reviews; the emptiness at the center of the Ego and how that relates to my breakout novel, Ghostm

Anthony and Barry Awards at Bouchercon
Hey, everybody! I'm spending the week here in beautiful Long Beach California to attend this year's world mystery convention, Bouchercon. So far nobody has been murdered, but I'm still hopeful. This crowd of mystery writers would provide for some interesting locked-room mystery hijinks. I'm especially excited to attend this year's Bouchercon, because I'm up for both an Anthony and a Barry award! If you're also attending, you should totally vote for me. Either that or I'll rob

My Research Process

For my third book, I'm going to be buried alive. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time exploring the world. I care a lot

Ghostman in Japan, Part Two! More Questions from Bungei Shunju
GHOSTMAN is filled with small trivia about criminal life, and that is what makes the novel convincing. Are these small “facts” really true? Or did you make them by your brainwork? If they are true, how did you get such knowledge? First, I should say that not all of the "facts" presented in GHOSTMAN are true. I made many of them up so the story would be more exciting. Only a fool would believe everything in GHOSTMAN. That being said, though, I tried to make the book's details

Seeley James Interviews Roger Hobbs
By Seeley James
(See original interview here) Roger Hobbs’ debut novel Ghostman has been nominated for every major award in the publishing business. I found it one of the best crime novels I’ve ever read, and The New York Times agreed. I hounded Mr. Hobbs for an interview because what amazed me most is: he’s young. Name a famous author and his/her age at their first award. He’s younger. James Patterson published his first book at 49, Lee Child at 43, Mr. Hobbs beat them by h
